Special 5th anniversary of the EOLE project at OWF
octobre 05 ven, 2012The EOLE project celebrates the fifth anniversary on the 12th October at the OWF !
“FOSS: Standing on the shoulders of law”, European OpenSource & Free Software law event
This year’s event is a special anniversary Edition. Its theme is voluntarily very broad to allow the speakers to propose speeches about which laws, regulations, rules or legal practices they find important for or relevant to the FOSS movement, be it some ground breaking case law, new legal trends, contractual practices, recent initiatives from communities, or even more sector-related specificities. The only criterion is that the speech should report on a detailed legal analysis on a legal issue pertaining to the development, use, distribution and/or the exploitation of FOSS. We encourage the candidates to share practical experiences (case studies), to summarize and give their opinion on some “classics” of Foss law or to raise prospective issues.
