Call for Panelist and Case Studies – Open Cloud Track @ OWF 2011 - Deadline: July 8th

On Sept 22rd the Open World forum will host a 2h plenary session on Open Cloud. On Sept 23th it will be followed by a series of case studies from users of software that the panelist represent. Round table: The plenary will start by a Keynote from Bill McNee which will then be followed by a round table with Vendors and Project leaders in the Cloud space. How can the cloud be resilient to failures, what costs does it add to application development when developping on top of a PaaS or a IaaS infrastructure? Have cloud technologies progressed enough at this point that interoperability has reach a level where cloud federations can be deployed today? PaaS environment seem today the next cloud battlefield, now that IaaS seems to have matured. What are the critical elements that should be considered when selecting a PaaS? Are some of the questions that will be asked to the panel. Case Studies: In order to qualify for presenting at the panel, we are asking each one of the panelist to propose one user case study.
