- Deadline: August 17th
OSDC.fr is the French version of OSDC conferences hold all over the world, in countries such as Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Malaysia, etc.
This conference aims at decompartmentalizing the various developers' communities gathered around languages or technologies like like Perl, Python, Ruby, PostgreSQL or Git.
Its goal is to bring French-speaking developers from different communities together around innovative programming technologies.
For its third year, OSDC.fr changes its usual set and partners with the Open World Forum, within the “CODE” part of the forum. The Open World Forum will take place in Paris at the Eurosites George V, from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th September 2011. The “CODE” events will be held on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24t September. Admission is free, please register.
The Open World Forum, which is a community event itself, brings all the great global communities and open technologies key role-players together. The Program Committee members, around 50, are international figures from the five continents.
The association OSDC.fr currently gathers the following associations: Perl Mongers, AFPY (French-speaking Python Association), Ruby France, ESUG and AFUP (French-speaking PHP Association).
The talks can be 20, 40 or 120 minutes long. There will also be a lightning talks session where each presentation is limited to 5 minutes.
Presentations must either be technical or deal with use cases. Submitting commercial presentations is not appropriate.
Here is a (non-comprehensive) list of topics:
You can submit a talk by creating an account on the OSDC.fr website, on http://act.osdc.fr/osdc2011fr/.
