GENIVI, a concrete industrial Alliance in touch with Open Source community

GENIVI is a collaborative project based on Open Source.

More than 120 companies work together to define an In-Vehicle Infotainment Platform. Business cases and software processes can be really different between the actors, the external interfaces with Open Source Project also.

To achieve its goals, the Alliance needs to define some collaborative rules regarding Intellectual Property, Licensing, Open source usages and management.
