ZeroMQ: a primer in 3 languages

Message passing systems are at being used to help new applications scale in both complexity and size. ØMQ is a flexible messaging library that extends the socket API rather than creating it's own, and uses stripped down, simple wire protocols to make it both fast to use and to develop with. ZeroMQ allows anyone who has done network programming to begin putting together messaging topologies in just a couple of hours. This talk is a primer for those new to ZeroMQ, and will present the different built-in messaging patterns, with code examples written in Perl, Python and Ruby.
