Keynote Art & Open Source

This Conference will gather three main artist in the digital Art: Aram Bartholl, Maurice Benayoun and Evan Roth.

Evan Roth is an artist and researcher who explores the intersection of free culture and popular culture, making work simultaneously for the contemporary art world and the "bored at work" network.  "From Fine Art to Free Software", is the title of his talk  wich will cover a range of his projects (Art in Airport series, Graffiti Analysis, Graffiti Research Lab, Eyewriter, etc...).

Aram Bartholl is a german artist, who realize performance, rappresenting in real life, new forms of interaction on the Internet and social media, video games. During this conference he will present his work DeadDrops which is a physical  peer-to-peer network.

Maurice Benayoun, is a french artist, researcher in Citu-Paragraphe laboratory and professor in University Paris 8. His projet , TheArtCollider is a platform for connected creation of time based art aiming towards a collaborative approach of media art creation through a system of Peer-to-Peer or Artist-to-Artist production.  Parisian had already the opportunity to discover it during Futur en Seine in june 2011.

This conference is lead by Anne-Cécile Worms co-founder of the company Digital Art International, and the Association Musiques & Cultures Digitales.
