Thuli Radebe was appointed in 2007 as the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Public Service Innovation in South Africa. This was after serving as a Chief Director for Research, Learning and Knowledge Management in the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) where she established and successfully led, for 7 years, the KM programme for the public service. She joined the DPSA after spending 16 years at the University of Natal where first as a Senior Subject Specialist and later a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Studies. Thuli served on the Commonwealth Association of Public Administration & Management’s Panel of Adjudicators for the 2010 International Innovation Awards. In June 2010 the Minister of Public Service and Administration launched her brainchild within the CPSI, the Multi-Media Innovation Centre.
