Jean-Séverin LAIR is the Culture and Communication Ministry CIO. Previously working at the French e-Government Agency in the Prime Minister’s services, then at the State Modernization in the Budget Ministry’s head office, he contributed to the development of an interministerial dynamic on the Open Source usage, supervising joint actions on interoperability, mutualization, forge implementation for administrations, licenses, purchases... Since 2008, he has been in charge of the Culture and Communication Ministry information systems, and in a very operational approach, has maintained the same policy long-based on Open Source components, as regards operating as well as client. Jean-Séverin Lair is member of 2010 Open CIO Summit’s program committee
