Workshop - The Commons as a New Paradigm of Economics and Politics 

Workshop leaders will introduce the commons paradigm as it exists in digital contexts and also non-Free/Open Source Software types of commons, such as the airwaves, the global atmosphere and fresh water. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences with commons-based production and collaboration, and discuss the innovative ways in which markets interact with commons. The workshop will also explore the larger significance of commons-based peer production and offer opportunities for learning about diverse commons-oriented projects and innovators.
