Alexis Monville is a French, mechanical engineer and e-government Strategic Plan Manager at Directorate general for state modernisation (Direction générale de la modernisation de l’Etat: DGME) of the Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de l’Industrie. Alexis was Project Director for the GIP MDS – modernisation of declarations to welfare agencies – which was promoted by the Internet portal: net-entreprises.fr. Before joining the public service, Alexis worked as a Freelance IT Consultant (2000-2003). He was previously Operations Director of a European Internet Hosting Company he had co-founded, Integra. He begins his career in car industry as the person in charge of the fabrication of the ABS (1992-1995) by AlliedSignal. He is now an associate in the consulting company Ayeba specialized in organization and strategy.
