Dominique VERNAY, is since October 2005, President of the Pole of Competitiveness SYSTEMATIC Paris Region, pole of Ile-de-France dedicated to the software and the complex systems. Dominique VERNAY made all his career at Thomson-CSF and Thales in the Telecommunication activity.He alternately occupied the functions of Searcher Engineer in the new technologies field, Project manager in charge of the new systems of telecom for the Air Force and Marine, Technical director in the Telecommunication Division (1973-1990 ) then Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Division Systems of training and Simulation (1991-1996). In 1996, he was named Research  Director for Technology at the head office of the Thales Group, function that he occupied until 2009.Dominique VERNAY  owns a diploma Engineer Supélec (College of electricity)Dominique VERNAY is besides president of Supélec’s scientific council. He also belongs to the directors board of INRIA (National Institute of Research in Computing and Automatic) and for the CNRS (NATIONAL CENTER FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH)
