Jean-Louis Missika began his career by becoming in 1979 as Maurice Ulrich and Pierre Desgraupes’s advisor, successive Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Antenne 2. He occupied this position until 1984. Between 1985 and 1986, he joineds the INA (NATIONAL AUDIOVISUAL INSTITUTE) as the director of search. In 1986, he became chief editor of the magazine MédiasPouvoirs. Then, he joined the head office of the “Group of the City “(1991-1993 ) then the Sofres as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the director of the activities media (1993-1995). In 1995 and during 3 years, he managed BVA, before creating his company of consulting media, JLM Council, subsidiary of Altedia, and Bertrand Delanoë's councilor. Director of Iliad since 2004, he was named as vice-president of the company in January, 2007 and left it in 2008 further to his election as councilor of Paris.
