Dr. Rahul De’ is the Hewlett-Packard Chair Professor in ICT for Sustainable Economic Development at IIM Bangalore. He has a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi, an MBA from University of Delhi, and a Ph.D. from the School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. His research interests are in economic impacts of open source and evaluation of e-Government systems. He also works in applied AI. He has published over 40 articles in international journals, refereed conference proceedings and as chapters in books. He has won two Outstanding Paper awards for his research.
He currently serves on the Board of IIM Bangalore and also on the Board of the Software Freedom Law Centre, India.
