Giancarlo Succi (PhD, PEng) is Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, professor of software engineering and director of the Center for Applied Software Engineering at the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen (Italy). His research areas include agile methods, open source development, empirical software engineering, software product lines, software reuse, and software engineering over the Internet. He is the author of more than 150 papers published in international conferences and journals.
