After a Master in chemical engineering, Loïc d'Anterroches went to Denmark to pursue a PhD in computer aided process engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. Parallel to the research work, Loïc maintained a large and innovative set of software tools dedicated to improve and ease the development of new processes and products. After the successful defense of his PhD in 2005, Loïc went to work for Atomistix (now QuantumWise) to bridge macro level property prediction methods with quantum based calculation methods. This work opened his field of expertise to another area. In 2007, Loïc founded Céondo Ltd to provide his services in the field of scientific software development to a larger audience, both industrial and academic. In July 2008, Loïc started the work on Indefero, a software forge available under the GPL on indefero.net.
